Rosie and her husband are busy making their house a family home. They’ve already decorated the playroom, filled it with bright colours and brilliant toys. It’s lovely.
And then Georgie’s nursery, softer with more pastel and pink. Teddies given as gifts, a comfortable chair set in the perfect place by the window. There was really no other place to photograph her breastfeeding portrait.
I watched Georgie, with her hand stretched up, reaching for mum, little feet kicked out and toes pointing like a ballerina. I saw Rosie’s adoring look down to her baby, casting as much light across Georgie as the window did. And that was my picture.
