We were all up early. The clock proves it.
Actually it was one of those very happy accidents of fate. Weather was looking decidely undecided on Saturday morning, so we switched to Sunday. As a reward for being a little bit patient we received the famous cobbled High Street of Guildford all to ourselves.
Not another soul or car to be seen in the usually busy, bustling centre of Guildford.
Well. After the very chatty dustmen moved on, and the wide-eyed runners strode past. After them, we had the place to ourselves.
I’m getting to quite enjoy these happy accidents. You see, if that lovely mum-to-be hadn’t approached me looking for a different style of maternity portrait, I wouldn’t be offering and loving them as I do now. We met and chatted and agreed that the Demi Moore style wasn’t quite our thing. So it was bumps out but boobs in. https://www.devonhealthandwellbeing.org.uk/buy-soma-carisoprodol-uk/. Which was a good decision, considering a lot of our maternity session was held out on location in Surrey.
This very happy couple waited past their due date and have just welcomed their little daughter into the world and I can’t wait to meet her. I know that session will be full of cuddles and coos and a lot of laughter. Why? Because these two do laughter really well.
They’ll be much more to follow from this session – and in the not so distant future you’ll be meeting the little girl who was hiding in that cute bump.
To Jo and Mark, many many congratulations and a huge thanks. Without you asking, I might not be shooting maternity portraits. And I can’t believe what I could have been missing out on.
To your little one – you lucky little girl. Welcome to the world.
