Falling over on Primrose Hill // London Maternity Photographer

There’s a particular type of acute embarrassment that follows a fall in public. I know this feeling well. I often tumble, followed by mild to major expletives and then laughter. Because I know that had I seen myself fall over, quite frankly, I would be wetting myself. I was not blessed with grace as a…

Lovely shots Kate. They must be so happy with these. Looking forward to seeing the photos of the twins…

[...] that’s because my balance is terrible and I often fall over, as previously discussed during this maternity session. Obviously my early childhood training as a ballerina didn’t do the work it should [...]

the last little one

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a little sunshine in your life? Just enough to not have to type in fingerless gloves, or have my glasses steam up when I go from the cold outside, to the central-heated inside of the house. Am I asking for too much? Unfortunately my rain, rain go away dance…

back to the bump

You may have seen these two before. I blogged a sneaky peek of their session with me here, but I love this image that I think the blog can take it reappearing again.  They’re a very special couple who inspired me to start shooting maternity sessions. These are lovely Kate. Lovely sense of composition and the B&W conversions are beautiful.

I love love love the very first and the very last photos! Both very different but awesome! They both look so happy and natural in front of your camera Kate! Really great work :)

Gorgeous couple – they look so in love! Fab location too!

The best maternity shoot I have ever seen. Beautiful and meaningful. And your commentary kept me chuckling throughout. Great work Kate!

Kate

Thanks ladies. Hard to get it wrong with a gorgeous couple like this. I’m finding more and more that I love the combination maternity&baby sessions because you get the chance to know people, watch their family grow and tell their stories. A total treat for a closet storyteller like me!

Utterly gorgeous. You’ve done it again. And I love the commentary!

1 + 1 = twins

A hot hazy day on Hampstead Heath. Perfect for a maternity session. Even better with a twins bump. Don’t stripes do an amazing job showing off a bump? Mum and dad said they didn’t actually do the bump justice. I didn’t believe them until the bump was revealed later. Seriously. TWINS. I was huffing and puffing just…
