A hot hazy day on Hampstead Heath. Perfect for a maternity session.
Even better with a twins bump.
Don’t stripes do an amazing job showing off a bump? Mum and dad said they didn’t actually do the bump justice. I didn’t believe them until the bump was revealed later.
I was huffing and puffing just thinking about it. This amazing mum took it all in her stride, but I thought it would be nice to give her a lie down. Even if the getting down and up again required a little help from dad. Despite being heavily pregnant, mum was still far more graceful than me.
Early evening light and a serene looking mum – love this. Also love remembering having to wait for the odd jogger to amble past. I mean odd too.
How do you get a slightly camera shy dad to relax on camera? Mum promised him anything off the takeaway menu for dinner later. I suggested he tell himself some rude jokes. I think he must have a good stock of them.
See. I told you about that bump.
Ending with a bold splash of colour – most unlike me. But when you have an amazing garden of flowers to play with, why not? Plus it reminds me about the very many bees that were out and about and how I’ve conquered my fear of them.
I used to be scared of them until I got stung by a jellyfish. But that is another sad and humiliating story. If you are very good, I may tell it to you.
Very pleased to say that this glorious bump has progressed into two gorgeous, healthy boys. I’ll be seeing you all again shortly. Can’t wait.
